The Lizards Are Coming (Part Deux)

The Client:

John G. Shedd Aquarium

The Campaign:

Chicago Creative Partnership has developed an integrated, multi-media extension to its highly visible "Lizards are Coming" campaign promoting Shedd Aquarium's current "Lizards and the Komodo King" exhibit. The exhibit, which has been extended through summer 2008, features more than 25 species of lizards, ranging from the tiny day gecko to the enormous Komodo dragon. Guests are able to explore the world of the lizards and learn through several interactive features including a texture-rubbing station.

The Komodo dragon, the first of its kind to be exhibited in Chicago, is highlighted in the advertising campaign along with other, smaller species of lizards.

Media:

In order to maximize exposure during the busy summer tourist season, CCP developed transit, outdoor and print creative to drive traffic to the exhibit. The campaign will kick off with "station domination" media placements on May 15th at the Addison Street station CTA stop at Wrigley Field, and continue at the 35th Street station at US Cellular Field beginning in June and the Merchandise Mart CTA station and Roosevelt Street station in October.
